What to expect at the end of course?
You would have accomplished a grueling training that will give you the edge over all your peers, even those who have over a year of experience!! The knowledge of building a product from scratch using state of art technologies – Java, J2EE, Struts,JSP. The application server you will use is the most popular in IT world - Tomcat along with Apache Webserver. Integrating Tomcat and Apache would form part of this course.
It is not just about building a product; it's more about building a QUALITY product that can actually be used by clients. To this end you will be exposed to all processes and tools that are actually used in the industry. You will develop skills of unit testing using JUnit and writing automated test cases. In the real IT world it’s not an individual that builds a product! It's a team. To ensure a team can work together you must have knowledge of working in distributed development environment. Real tools that are used in industry to accomplish the same would be exposed to you – SVN, BugZilla, ANT, tools of writing, building and debugging a java application – Eclipse, Log4j, XML
To write a scalable application it is essential to know about Object Oriented Design, RDBMS. You will be exposed to object oriented design approach, Relational Databases, Database design, SQL and ways of optimizing SQL Queries.
